In a dominant display, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the New England Patriots 50-28 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to establish their place early in the season, the Jaguars showcased their offensive firepower, leaving the Patriots struggling to keep pace. C.J. Stroud led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for an impressive 408 yards and five touchdowns, proving to be a formidable force in the passing game. He connected seamlessly with Tyler Warren, who racked up 182 receiving yards, while Quinshon Judkins added a solid ground game with 102 rushing yards, contributing to a well-rounded offensive attack. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays that shifted momentum in their favor. David Stone stood out with 1.5 sacks, applying consistent pressure on the Patriots' quarterback. The turning point came when Stroud threw a touchdown pass shortly after a crucial interception by Dillon Thieneman, which allowed Jacksonville to extend their lead and put the game out of reach.
