In a commanding performance, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 42-14 in Week 10 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the 49ers showcased their dominance, solidifying their position as a force in the league. Leading the charge for San Francisco was quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr, who threw for an impressive 331 yards and five touchdowns, while also adding 50 rushing yards to his stat line. Wide receiver Matthew Golden shined with 111 receiving yards, providing a reliable target throughout the game. The offensive unit proved too much for the Vikings' defense, consistently finding ways to exploit coverage gaps. Defensively, the Vikings struggled to contain the 49ers' high-powered offense, despite some standout individual efforts. Will Anderson Jr. recorded 2.5 sacks, showcasing his ability to pressure the quarterback, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. The game turned decisively in the second quarter when Richardson threw three touchdown passes, effectively putting the game out of reach and leaving the Vikings to play catch-up for the remainder.
