In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Green Bay Packers by a score of 30-28, making a significant statement in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for an early lead in the standings, the stakes were high, and the Falcons emerged victorious in a tightly contested game. Dak Prescott showcased his skills for the Packers, throwing for 283 yards and two touchdowns, keeping the pressure on Atlanta throughout the contest. However, it was Cam Skattebo who propelled the Falcons' ground game with 89 rushing yards, providing a balanced offense that complemented their passing attack. Zay Flowers was the standout receiver for Green Bay, racking up 94 yards, but it was not enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Falcons made their mark with Tremaine Edmunds leading the charge with seven total tackles, while Alfred Collins contributed with a crucial sack. The turning point came when Zyon McCollum intercepted Prescott's pass late in the fourth quarter, stifling a potential game-winning drive for the Packers and allowing Atlanta to hold onto their slim lead as the clock ran out.
