In a defensive battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars by a final score of 2-0 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high, as both teams sought to build early momentum in what promises to be a competitive season. Despite the low score, it was C.J. Stroud of the Jaguars who shone offensively, throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Stroud’s impressive performance was complemented by standout receiver Justin Jefferson, who racked up 186 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. However, the Jaguars' offense could not convert those numbers into points, leaving them scoreless on the night. Defensively, the game was marked by a lack of scoring opportunities, with neither team finding the end zone. Jakorian Bennett led the Jaguars with three total tackles, while Jeffery Simmons contributed with half a sack, applying pressure throughout the contest. The turning point came when the Broncos managed to keep the Jaguars out of the red zone, forcing them into a frustrating night that culminated in a shutout.
