In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Buffalo Bills 34-21, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season winds down. With both teams vying for a postseason berth, the stakes were high, and the Texans delivered with a strong performance. Justin Herbert spearheaded the Texans' offensive attack, throwing for 241 yards, while Christian McCaffrey powered the ground game with 102 rushing yards. Terry McLaurin was a key target for Herbert, racking up 94 receiving yards and keeping the Bills' defense on its heels. Although Cam Ward of the Bills threw for a touchdown, it wasn't enough to overcome the Texans' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Texans made their presence felt, with Dallas Turner registering a sack and Nick Cross snagging an interception that helped shift momentum in Houston's favor. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Cross's interception set up a touchdown drive, extending their lead and putting the Bills on their back foot. With solid defensive plays and a potent offensive showing, the Texans secured a vital victory in their quest for the playoffs.
