In a pivotal Week 11 matchup, the Washington Commanders topped the Cincinnati Bengals 24-17, maintaining their playoff aspirations while handing the Bengals a tough loss. Both teams entered the game looking to solidify their positions in the standings, but it was the Commanders who emerged victorious in this hard-fought battle. Jayden Daniels led the way for Washington, throwing for a touchdown and managing the game effectively, while Joe Burrow of the Bengals showcased his prowess with a strong performance, racking up 299 passing yards. On the ground, Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed 57 rushing yards, helping to balance the Commanders' offensive attack. Ja'Marr Chase was a standout for Cincinnati, reeling in 166 receiving yards, but his efforts weren't enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Commanders made crucial stops, with K'Lavon Chaisson delivering a key sack that disrupted Burrow's rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Washington defense held the Bengals on a critical fourth down, allowing them to maintain their lead and seal the victory. With this win, the Commanders are well-positioned for the playoff race, while the Bengals will need to regroup and reassess their strategy moving forward.
