In a commanding performance, the Denver Broncos topped the Kansas City Chiefs 30-12 in Week 12 of the 2027 season, solidifying their playoff position while dealing a significant blow to their rivals. The Broncos showcased a balanced attack, but it was their defense that set the tone early, preventing Kansas City from finding a rhythm. Quarterback Jared Lorenzen led the charge for Denver, throwing for 259 yards and three touchdowns, while wide receiver Courtland Sutton was a standout target with 93 receiving yards. The Broncos' offense thrived, effectively capitalizing on opportunities and maintaining control throughout the game. In contrast, the Chiefs struggled to respond, with Ashton Jeanty managing only 73 rushing yards. Defensively, the Broncos dominated, with Myles Garrett recording an impressive 3.5 sacks that disrupted the Kansas City offense at critical moments. Dre Greenlaw also made his presence felt with six total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the Chiefs attempted to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when a key interception by Riq Woolen halted a promising Kansas City drive, allowing Denver to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
