In a high-octane showdown, the Washington Commanders triumphed over the New Orleans Saints with a final score of 56-28, solidifying their playoff aspirations in Week 12 of the 2027 season. The Commanders' explosive offense showcased their dominance, putting the league on notice with an eye-popping performance. Leading the charge for Washington was quarterback Dak Prescott, who threw for an astounding 613 yards and eight touchdowns, a remarkable display that left the Saints' defense scrambling. Meanwhile, receiver Pete Crow-Armstrong made waves by racking up 362 receiving yards, proving to be Prescott's favorite target and a nightmare for the Saints' secondary. Despite the loss, Tank Bigsby of New Orleans shone brightly, rushing for 212 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Commanders' offensive firepower. Defensively, Bob James was a standout for Washington, contributing five total tackles and 2.5 sacks, helping to disrupt the Saints' rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Commanders scored three consecutive touchdowns, pushing their lead to a commanding 35-14. From that moment on, the Saints were unable to recover, as Washington's defense maintained pressure and kept New Orleans at bay for the remainder of the contest.
