In a commanding display to kick off the 2026 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Cleveland Browns 54-26. With both teams eager to set a tone for the year, the Jaguars showcased their offensive prowess, while the Browns struggled to keep pace. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the night, throwing for five touchdowns and helping his team build a substantial lead. Deshaun Watson kept the Browns competitive with a solid performance, racking up 363 passing yards and connecting with KC Concepcion Jr., who recorded an impressive 174 receiving yards. However, it was the Jaguars' relentless offense that ultimately seized control of the game. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt, particularly through standout performances from Andre Cisco and Josh Hines-Allen. Cisco not only recorded five tackles but also snagged two interceptions, halting any momentum the Browns attempted to build. Hines-Allen's dominance in the pass rush with five sacks served as a turning point, consistently pressuring Watson and forcing critical mistakes that allowed the Jaguars to pull away decisively.
