In a tightly contested matchup, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 21-17 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. The victory was crucial for Seattle as they look to solidify their playoff positioning, while the Broncos aimed to stay competitive in a tough division. Bo Nix of the Broncos showcased his arm strength, throwing for an impressive 357 yards and a touchdown, but it was the Seahawks' offensive duo that made the difference. Jaydon Blue ran the ball effectively, racking up 132 rushing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba was a standout in the air, catching passes for 159 yards. Their combined efforts provided Seattle with the offensive spark needed to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made key plays to stifle the Broncos' momentum, with Ernest Jones IV leading the team with eight total tackles and DeMarcus Lawrence contributing with half a sack. The game’s turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense held strong, forcing a crucial turnover on downs that allowed them to maintain their narrow lead. Despite Pat Surtain II’s interception of the Seahawks' offense, Denver couldn't capitalize enough to pull ahead, sealing the victory for Seattle.
