In a hard-fought battle in Week 9 of the 2026 season, the Denver Broncos topped the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 23-13. This victory keeps the Broncos firmly in the playoff race, while the Panthers look to regroup as their season begins to slip away. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 207 yards, while RJ Harvey's ground game added 73 rushing yards to secure the win. Jaylen Waddle contributed significantly in the receiving game, racking up 62 yards and helping to keep the Panthers' defense on their heels throughout the contest. Haynes King managed to throw a touchdown for Carolina, but it wasn't enough to close the gap. Defensively, Demario Davis was a standout for the Broncos, recording eight total tackles to anchor the unit. The game's turning point came late in the third quarter when Tre'von Moehrig intercepted a pass, giving Carolina a chance to claw back, but Denver’s defense held firm, stifling any hopes of a comeback. Nic Scourton's 1.5 sacks were a bright spot for the Panthers, but overall, Denver's steady defensive pressure ultimately sealed the victory.
