The Denver Broncos secured a convincing 24-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This win was crucial for Denver as they aimed to establish momentum early in the season, while the Jaguars sought to bounce back from a disappointing opener. Bo Nix was the standout performer, throwing for 312 yards and a touchdown, leading the Broncos' offense effectively throughout the game. Evan Engram proved to be a reliable target, racking up 77 receiving yards, while Trevor Lawrence's 59 rushing yards highlighted his dual-threat capability, though it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Broncos. Defensively, the Broncos were sharp, with Patrick Surtain II making a pivotal interception that halted a Jaguars drive and shifted the game's momentum. Miles Scott added pressure with a sack, contributing to a solid defensive performance that stifled Jacksonville's scoring opportunities. The turning point came when Denver's defense forced a turnover late in the second quarter, allowing them to maintain control and ultimately seal the game.
