The Indianapolis Colts dominated the Houston Texans with a staggering final score of 69-14, sealing their fate in Week 2 of the 2027 season. This rout underscores the Colts’ offensive prowess and sets a high bar for the rest of the league to follow. Arch Manning led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for an impressive 314 yards and tossing four touchdown passes, showcasing both accuracy and power. Meanwhile, the Colts' offense was relentless, leaving the Texans’ defense scrambling to keep up. On the other side, Woody Marks managed just 35 rushing yards, while Ryan Wingo recorded 85 receiving yards for Houston, but it was not enough to mount any significant challenge. Defensively, the Colts were equally impressive, with Laiatu Latu recording two sacks and Charvarius Ward Sr. snagging an interception, further stifling any hopes of a Texans comeback. The turning point came early in the game when the Colts’ defense forced a turnover, allowing them to capitalize and build a commanding lead that the Texans could never recover from. This game serves as a stark reminder of the Colts’ potential as they continue their campaign.
