In a tightly contested matchup, the Tennessee Titans narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins 17-13 in Week 3 of the 2028 season. With both teams vying for early-season momentum, the Titans managed to secure the win on their home turf, improving their record and solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. Cam Ward was the standout performer for Tennessee, throwing for 181 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make big plays under pressure. On the other side, Jacoby Brissett led the Dolphins with 186 passing yards, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the Titans' defense. Mark Fletcher Jr. contributed significantly on the ground with 75 rushing yards, while Parker Washington was a bright spot in the Miami offense, racking up 116 receiving yards. Defensively, the Dolphins put forth a strong effort, led by Tarheeb Still, who recorded seven total tackles and an interception. However, it was the Titans' defense that stepped up at crucial moments, forcing key stops that allowed them to maintain their lead. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a critical sack by Mario Williams stifled a potential game-winning drive for Miami, sealing the victory for Tennessee.
