In a thrilling Week 17 showdown, the Chicago Bears narrowly defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 24-22, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2027 season. With both teams vying for critical positioning, this contest proved to be a nail-biter from start to finish. Caleb Williams showcased his prowess under center for the Bears, throwing for 302 yards and three touchdowns. He connected frequently with Luther Burden III, who racked up 112 receiving yards, creating a dynamic duo that kept the Raiders' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, Ashton Jeanty was a standout for Las Vegas, rushing for an impressive 139 yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, T.J. Edwards led the Bears with 11 total tackles, playing a key role in stifling the Raiders' offense at critical moments. The game's turning point came when Malik Muhammad intercepted a pass, halting a potential game-winning drive for Las Vegas. Maxx Crosby's 1.5 sacks added pressure on Williams, but ultimately, Chicago's defense stepped up when it mattered most to seal the victory.
