In a commanding performance, the San Antonio Redwoods topped the East St Louis FLYERS 38-20 in Week 2 of the 2027 Madden season. With both teams looking to establish their momentum early in the season, this win puts the Redwoods firmly atop their division. Tyler Shough was the standout for San Antonio, throwing for three touchdowns and helping to distribute the ball effectively. Chris Johnson Jr. added a strong ground game with 90 rushing yards, while East St Louis’s Dak Prescott threw for 265 yards, finding CeeDee Lamb for a game-high 146 receiving yards. However, the Flyers’ offensive efforts fell short against the Redwoods’ explosive attack. Defensively, San Antonio made crucial plays that turned the tide in their favor. Christen Miller recorded 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on Prescott throughout the game, while Justin Reid's interception helped stifle any momentum East St Louis tried to build. The game shifted decisively when Reid's pick set up a touchdown, allowing the Redwoods to extend their lead and assert control over the contest.
