In a decisive matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 38-21, securing their second victory of the season. This Week 2 clash was crucial for both teams as they look to establish momentum early in the 2031 campaign. Jamie Koutouvides led the Seahawks' passing attack, throwing for 249 yards and a touchdown, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as a top receiving target with 121 yards. However, it was Jalen Fisher who stole the spotlight for the Saints, rushing for an impressive 116 yards, significantly contributing to the team's offensive success. On the defensive side, Coby Bryant made his presence felt for Seattle, racking up seven total tackles, and Dominick McKinley added 1.5 sacks. Despite their efforts, the Saints' defense stifled crucial drives, particularly in the second half, where they forced turnovers that shifted momentum. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when the Saints capitalized on a crucial interception, extending their lead and ultimately sealing their victory.
