In a tightly contested battle in Week 16, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos by a score of 20-14, securing a crucial victory as the season heads into its final stretch. With playoff implications on the line, both teams came out strong, but it was the Bills who ultimately emerged victorious. Bo Nix showcased his arm strength for the Broncos, throwing for 247 yards and two touchdowns, connecting effectively with Courtland Sutton, who racked up 127 receiving yards. On the ground, James Cook III led the Bills with 61 rushing yards, providing a steady presence in the backfield that helped control the tempo of the game. Defensively, Maxwell Hairston made a game-changing interception for the Bills, stifling a potential scoring drive from the Broncos and shifting momentum in favor of Buffalo. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Hairston's pick not only halted Denver's progress but also allowed the Bills to capitalize with a touchdown drive, ultimately sealing their victory.
