Both teams fought hard, but the Lions managed to outlast the Saints in a game that showcased key performances on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Jared Goff led the Lions with a crucial passing touchdown, while Tyler Shough of the Saints threw for 213 yards but struggled to find the end zone. Rico Dowdle added a solid 63 rushing yards for New Orleans, and wide receiver Chris Olave was a standout with 71 receiving yards, keeping the Saints competitive throughout the game.
