The Cincinnati Bengals opened the 2028 season in dominant fashion, defeating the Buffalo Bills 56-24. With playoff aspirations on the line, both teams were looking to make an early statement, but it was the Bengals who showcased their offensive prowess. Joe Burrow was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 549 yards and an impressive seven touchdowns, connecting frequently with standout receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who racked up 321 receiving yards. The Bengals' offensive explosion set the tone for the game, leaving the Bills scrambling to keep pace. While the Bengals' offense stole the spotlight, their defense also played a critical role in the outcome. Jalen Pitre’s interception was a key moment that shifted momentum, halting a potential scoring drive for Buffalo. Cincinnati's defense, led by Kamari Lassiter with four total tackles, effectively contained the Bills' attack, allowing the Bengals to secure a decisive victory.
