In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the New England Patriots outlasted the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 63-56, showcasing both teams' high-powered offenses. This victory keeps the Patriots firmly in the playoff conversation, while the Jaguars will look to regroup after a hard-fought loss. Drake Maye was the star of the night for New England, throwing for an impressive 532 yards and a staggering seven touchdown passes. His connection with George Pickens was particularly lethal, as Pickens amassed 298 receiving yards, making big plays throughout the contest. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson contributed on the ground with 87 rushing yards, further complementing the Patriots' explosive offensive display. Defensively, the Patriots held their ground, with Kamari Lassiter leading the charge with four total tackles. The turning point came when Jacksonville's defense, despite some strong individual performances like Travon Walker's 1.5 sacks and Travis Hunter's interception, struggled to contain the relentless New England offense in critical moments. Ultimately, the Jaguars' inability to stop Maye and the Patriots' aerial assault proved costly in this nail-biter.
