In a gripping Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Washington Commanders topped the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 35-21. This victory not only boosts Washington's confidence but also solidifies their early-season momentum in a competitive league. Jayden Daniels showcased his prowess under center for the Commanders, throwing for three touchdowns and leading his team to a commanding offensive performance. On the other side, Sam Darnold put up respectable numbers with 189 passing yards, while Rashid Shaheed emerged as the Seahawks' top receiver with 76 yards through the air. However, the rushing attack struggled, with Jadarian Price managing only 37 yards on the ground. Defensively, the Commanders made critical plays to secure their victory, highlighted by Leo Chenal's interception that shifted momentum in the second half. Washington's defense, anchored by Sonny Styles' three tackles, consistently pressured the Seahawks, limiting their offensive effectiveness. The game's turning point came when the Commanders scored unanswered points following Chenal's interception, allowing them to pull away and ultimately secure the win.
