In a thrilling Week 13 showdown, the Warroad Woodchucks topped the San Diego Warriors with a final score of 45-28. This victory keeps Warroad in strong playoff contention, while San Diego faces critical challenges as the season winds down. Warroad's Justin Fields delivered a standout performance, throwing for an impressive 483 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to slice through the Warriors' defense. Chuba Hubbard was a force on the ground for San Diego, racking up 177 rushing yards, while Stefon Diggs added 132 receiving yards to keep the Warriors competitive throughout the game. Defensively, the Woodchucks made their mark with Budda Baker leading the team in tackles and Jonas Sanker contributing a key sack. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Fields connected on a deep touchdown pass, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of Warroad, allowing them to maintain control for the remainder of the game. Despite Jaquan Brisker's two interceptions for San Diego, it wasn't enough to turn the tide against a dominant Woodchucks offense.
