In a dominating performance, the Arizona Cardinals topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 52-21 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This victory solidified the Cardinals' position as a formidable contender, while the 49ers will need to regroup after this setback. Jacoby Brissett was the standout for Arizona, throwing for 296 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his efficiency and precision on the field. Marvin Harrison Jr. was his primary target, racking up an impressive 158 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to break open against the 49ers' secondary. The Cardinals' offense displayed a potent mix of big plays and sustained drives, leaving San Francisco struggling to keep pace. Defensively, the Cardinals were able to limit the 49ers' scoring opportunities despite Christian McCaffrey's solid performance of 97 rushing yards. The turning point came in the second quarter when Arizona's relentless pressure forced San Francisco into critical turnovers, shifting momentum decisively in their favor. While Renardo Green led the 49ers with eight total tackles, it wasn't enough to halt the Cardinals' offensive surge.
