In a high-scoring affair, the San Francisco 49ers outlasted the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 46-32, boosting their playoff hopes in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory was crucial for the 49ers as they look to solidify their position in a competitive NFC West. Leading the charge for San Francisco was quarterback Brock Purdy, who threw for three touchdowns while connecting effectively with Deebo Samuel Sr., who racked up 156 receiving yards. Christian McCaffrey also had a standout performance, dominating on the ground with 198 rushing yards, showcasing his versatility and impact on the game. Defensively, the 49ers were able to apply pressure, with Nick Bosa recording two sacks that disrupted Atlanta's rhythm. The game took a pivotal turn when Bosa's second sack led to a key turnover, allowing San Francisco to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory. Although Avieon Terrell of the Falcons logged two interceptions, it wasn't enough to shift the momentum back in Atlanta's favor.
