In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the New Orleans Saints narrowly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 34-31. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to solidify their playoff positioning in a tightly contested season, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious on their home turf. Zach Wilson led the Saints’ offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 4 touchdowns, while Drew Allar of the Steelers put on a show of his own with 413 passing yards. DK Metcalf shined in the receiving game for Pittsburgh, racking up 263 yards, but ultimately it wasn’t enough to clinch the win. The ground game was less impactful, with Jaylen Warren leading the Steelers with just 32 rushing yards. Defensively, the Saints made key plays when it mattered most. Tre Hawkins III led the team with 4 tackles, while Kyron Johnson put pressure on the Steelers’ offense with 1.5 sacks. The turning point came late in the game when Jonas Sanker intercepted Allar, halting Pittsburgh's momentum and allowing the Saints to maintain their slim lead for the win.
