In a crucial Week 7 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 28-18, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for a stronger standing in the division, this victory gives the Ravens a significant boost as they head into the latter half of the season. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities with 204 passing yards and a touchdown, alongside an impressive 106 rushing yards. His ability to extend plays and make crucial throws kept the Bengals' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Jeff Caldwell contributed significantly in the receiving game, racking up 75 yards to help drive the Ravens' offensive success. Defensively, the Ravens made impactful plays, particularly from Nnamdi Madubuike, who recorded two sacks, disrupting the Bengals' rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Madubuike's pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing Baltimore to extend their lead. Cincinnati's inability to respond effectively on defense ultimately sealed their fate in this hard-fought contest.
