In a dominating performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Carolina Panthers 30-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season, proving their playoff potential as they continue to build momentum. The win solidifies Tampa Bay's position as a formidable contender in the league, while Carolina struggles to find their footing. Baker Mayfield led the charge for the Buccaneers with a stellar outing, throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns. His connection with tight end Cade Otton was particularly noteworthy, as Otton racked up an impressive 146 receiving yards, contributing significantly to the offensive explosion. Meanwhile, Bucky Irving added a solid ground game with 72 rushing yards, complementing the potent passing attack. Defensively, the Buccaneers made their presence felt, with Alex Anzalone recording two sacks that disrupted the Panthers' rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mayfield's touchdown pass to Otton extended their lead, leaving Carolina unable to recover. Despite Trevin Wallace’s 11 tackles for the Panthers, their defense struggled to contain Tampa Bay's offensive firepower throughout the game.
