The New England Patriots secured a decisive 34-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 of the 2026 season, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their place in the playoff conversation. With this win, the Patriots continue to build momentum early in the season, while the Jaguars struggle to find their footing. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for 337 yards and four touchdowns, leading a potent aerial assault. TreVeyon Henderson added to the offensive fireworks with a stellar 155 rushing yards, giving the Patriots a balanced attack. Kyle Williams was a favorite target for Maye, racking up an impressive 205 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to get open and stretch the field. Defensively, the Patriots made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor, particularly with Craig Woodson's two interceptions, which thwarted any attempts by the Jaguars to mount a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Woodson intercepted a pass, setting up a touchdown that extended New England’s lead to 21-10. While Jacksonville's Albert Regis recorded two sacks and Foyesade Oluokun led with five tackles, it was clear that the Patriots' defensive efforts were pivotal in maintaining control of the game.
