The Dallas Cowboys topped the Washington Commanders with a decisive 43-29 victory in Week 18 of the 2026 season, securing their playoff position as the regular season comes to a close. This win not only boosts the Cowboys' momentum but also sends a clear message about their offensive firepower heading into the postseason. Kenneth Walker was a standout on the ground for Dallas, racking up an impressive 173 rushing yards, while Marvin Harrison Jr. showcased his receiving prowess with 168 yards and a touchdown. On the other side, Jordan Love kept the Commanders competitive, throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cowboys' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Cowboys made crucial plays at pivotal moments, with Nick Emmanwori snagging two interceptions that stifled Washington's drive. The turning point came in the third quarter when Emmanwori's second pick set up a quick touchdown for Dallas, widening the gap and shifting the momentum firmly in their favor. Washington's defense, led by Taron Johnson's lone sack and Terrell Burgess's four tackles, struggled to contain the Cowboys' explosive attacks throughout the game.
