The Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 14-7 in a tightly contested Week 16 matchup that had major playoff implications. With this victory, the Bills solidified their position in the postseason race, while the Broncos' hopes of a playoff berth took a significant hit. Cam Ward led the Broncos in passing, throwing for 167 yards and a touchdown, but it was Tyler Allgeier who stood out for Buffalo, contributing 44 rushing yards to help sustain drives. Despite the low-scoring affair, both teams showed flashes of offensive potential, with Jeremiyah Love catching for 40 yards to keep Denver in the game. Defensively, the Bills made critical plays when it mattered most. Drue Tranquill recorded four total tackles, and Reed Blankenship's interception proved to be a pivotal moment that kept the Broncos from mounting a comeback in the second half. Kenneth Grant’s sack added pressure to the Bills’ offense but ultimately could not change the outcome, as Buffalo's defense held strong to secure the win.
