In a crucial Week 15 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Los Angeles Rams 26-14, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season nears its conclusion. The Cowboys showcased their offensive prowess while the Rams struggled to keep pace, ultimately falling short in their bid for postseason contention. Sam Darnold led the Cowboys with a solid performance, throwing for 242 yards and keeping the offense moving efficiently. The ground game was anchored by Kenneth Walker, who rushed for 87 yards, contributing significantly to Dallas's balanced attack. Meanwhile, the Rams' Justin Herbert managed just one touchdown in the air, unable to keep his team competitive throughout the contest. Defensively, the Cowboys were relentless, with Edgerrin Cooper leading the way with eight total tackles and Cooper DeJean making a game-changing impact with two interceptions. The turning point came late in the second quarter when DeJean picked off Herbert, setting up a touchdown that extended Dallas's lead and ultimately sealed the victory. The Rams' defense, despite Patrick Queen's two sacks, could not overcome the Cowboys' offensive momentum.
