The Washington Commanders secured a decisive 37-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations with this commanding win. The stakes were high as both teams sought momentum heading into the postseason, but Washington proved too formidable on their home turf. Saquon Barkley was the standout performer for the Commanders, racking up an impressive 209 rushing yards and finding the end zone twice to fuel his team’s offensive attack. C.J. Stroud led the Falcons' passing game with 211 yards, but was unable to find the same rhythm as Barkley, leaving Atlanta scrambling for answers. Rashee Rice contributed with 69 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Washington's explosive offense. The Commanders' defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, consistently applying pressure and limiting big plays. L'Jarius Sneed anchored the defense with three total tackles, while Jonathon Cooper recorded two sacks, disrupting Atlanta's offensive flow. The turning point came when Terrell Burgess intercepted a pass in the second half, setting the stage for a quick score that put the game out of reach for the Falcons.
