In a pivotal Week 14 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 27-13, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season approaches its climax. Both teams were in the hunt for critical positioning, but the 49ers showcased their dominance at home. Jayden Daniels led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 177 yards and a touchdown, while D'Andre Swift contributed significantly on the ground with 68 rushing yards. The Rams' passing attack saw Kyle Pitts Sr. shine with 69 receiving yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with the 49ers' balanced offensive performance. Defensively, San Francisco made its mark with key plays that turned the tide in their favor. Chris Jones recorded a crucial sack, and DeShon Elliott's interception proved to be a game-changer, stifling any momentum the Rams were trying to build. Andrew Van Ginkel's two tackles, while not game-defining, helped maintain pressure and contributed to the overall effectiveness of the 49ers' defense throughout the contest.
