The Pittsburgh Steelers triumphed over the Houston Texans with a final score of 31-14 in a crucial Week 13 matchup of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Steelers' position in the playoff race as they continue to showcase their dominance on both sides of the ball. Patrick Mahomes led the Steelers' offense, throwing for two touchdowns and effectively orchestrating drives that kept the Texans' defense on its heels. Zach Charbonnet was a force in the ground game, rushing for 99 yards and consistently moving the chains, while the Texans' Joe Milton kept pace with 237 passing yards and a solid performance, but ultimately fell short. Defensively, the Steelers made critical plays that turned the tide in their favor. Denzel Ward's interception set the tone, halting a potential scoring drive from the Texans. Although the Texans' Kayvon Thibodeaux recorded two sacks, it was the Steelers' ability to create turnovers and maintain pressure that proved decisive in this matchup, leading to their convincing win.
