In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Jets topped the Chicago Bears 12-6 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. The game showcased the defensive prowess of both teams, with playoff implications hanging in the balance for the Jets as they aimed to build momentum early in the season. Matthew Stafford led the Jets with a touchdown pass, while Kyren Williams was the standout on the ground, racking up 82 rushing yards. Despite the Bears' Bryce Young throwing for 123 yards, it was Stafford’s efficient play that provided just enough support for the Jets to secure the victory. Defensively, the Jets were formidable, with Nick Bosa leading the team in tackles and Bobby Wagner registering a crucial interception. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Wagner's pick halted a potential scoring drive for the Bears, allowing the Jets to maintain their slim lead and ultimately seal the win.
