In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders secured a 24-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The win was crucial for the Raiders as they look to build momentum heading into the postseason, while the Cardinals face increased pressure to regroup in their final games. Las Vegas quarterback Fernando Mendoza led the charge with an impressive performance, racking up 224 passing yards and tossing two touchdown passes. Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground, amassing 93 rushing yards, while Marvin Harrison Jr. shined for the Cardinals with 129 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to make big plays despite the loss. Defensively, the Cardinals struggled to contain the Raiders' offensive rhythm, allowing crucial scoring drives that ultimately decided the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a key interception by the Raiders shifted momentum, allowing them to maintain control and seal the victory. Despite standout efforts like Mack Wilson Sr.'s 12 tackles and Zaven Collins' sack, it wasn't enough to overcome the Raiders' offensive firepower.
