In a hard-fought battle in Week 3 of the 2026 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 24-17. With both teams seeking their footing early in the season, this victory was crucial for the Jaguars to establish momentum and assert themselves in the AFC South. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Bhayshul Tuten also made a significant impact, leading the team in both rushing with 45 yards and receiving with 75 yards, effectively contributing to the offensive efforts and keeping the Patriots' defense on its heels. Defensively, the Jaguars' playmakers stepped up at key moments, including Foyesade Oluokun, who recorded a sack, and Jalen Huskey, who secured an interception. The turning point came late in the game when Huskey's pick halted a potential game-tying drive for New England, allowing Jacksonville to maintain control and seal the victory. With this win, the Jaguars are looking to build on their success as they move deeper into the season.
