In a dominant performance, the Green Bay Packers topped the New York Jets 42-11 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The matchup was crucial for both teams as they aimed to establish momentum early in the year, but the Packers showcased their offensive prowess and left the Jets searching for answers. Quarterback Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns, proving to be a pivotal player in the victory. Wide receiver Christian Watson made a remarkable impact, racking up 190 receiving yards and adding to the scoring with a touchdown. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground with a steady 61 rushing yards, solidifying the Packers' offensive attack. Defensively, the Packers were equally impressive, with Javon Bullard snagging an interception to stymie any potential Jets' comeback. The turning point came midway through the second quarter when Love connected with Watson for a long touchdown, shifting the momentum decisively in favor of Green Bay. The Jets struggled to respond, and the Packers’ defense stifled their efforts throughout the game, securing the rout.
