The Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2026 season with a convincing 31-14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. With both teams eager to set the tone for the year, the Ravens' offense proved too much for the Colts to handle in this opening matchup. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for four touchdown passes, showcasing his lethal combination of arm strength and precision. Anthony Richardson Sr. had a respectable game for Indianapolis, racking up 247 passing yards, while Tyler Warren emerged as a reliable target with 93 receiving yards. However, the Colts' ground game faltered, with Jonathan Taylor managing just 52 rushing yards against a tough Ravens defense. Defensively, the Ravens made their mark by applying consistent pressure and forcing key turnovers. Travis Jones recorded a sack, while Chidobe Awuzie snagged an interception, both critical in shifting momentum. The turning point came late in the first half when Baltimore's defense stifled a Colts drive, leading to a quick score that extended their lead and ultimately sealed the game.
