In a dominant display, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 51-17 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this decisive victory, the Patriots solidify their position as a force to be reckoned with early in the season, showcasing their offensive prowess and tactical execution. Drake Maye was the standout star for New England, throwing for an impressive 342 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating his growing chemistry with the offense. A.J. Brown was a primary target, racking up 157 receiving yards, while TreVeyon Henderson added balance to the attack with 79 rushing yards. The Patriots' offensive line provided Maye with the protection he needed to exploit the Jaguars' defense effectively. Defensively, the Patriots capitalized on key opportunities, with Christian Gonzalez snagging an interception that shifted momentum in their favor. Despite the Jaguars’ efforts, including a sack from Travon Walker and a team-leading 10 tackles from Foyesade Oluokun, they struggled to contain the Patriots’ explosive offense. The turning point came in the second quarter, where a series of turnovers from Jacksonville allowed New England to pull away and secure a commanding lead.
