With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the stakes were high, and the game lived up to the hype with a nail-biting finish. D.J. Hall of the Vikings was the star of the day, throwing for 348 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing skills. Tory Horton was his primary target, racking up an impressive 222 receiving yards, making crucial catches that kept Minnesota’s offense rolling. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey led the 49ers on the ground with 71 rushing yards, but it was Hall’s aerial assault that made the difference. Defensively, the Vikings managed to stifle the 49ers’ attempts to mount a comeback, with James Pierre leading the charge with three total tackles. However, it was Marques Sigle of the 49ers who made his mark with a sack and an interception, trying to swing momentum back to his team. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Hall connected with Horton for a touchdown that ultimately sealed the game, leaving the 49ers just short of a last-minute victory.
