In a tightly contested matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 14-10 in Week 10 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Chiefs who came out on top in a game that showcased their resilience. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs' offense, throwing for two touchdowns while RJ Harvey dominated the ground game with 120 rushing yards. Brock Purdy of the Falcons impressed with 210 passing yards, but it was the Chiefs' ability to capitalize on key moments that ultimately secured their victory. Dallas Goedert was a reliable target for Purdy, racking up 82 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Kansas City's timely scoring. Defensively, the Falcons were anchored by Patrick Queen, who recorded five total tackles, while Alim McNeill added a crucial sack. However, it was a key interception by Mike Jackson that gave Atlanta a glimmer of hope, but the Chiefs' defense held firm when it mattered most. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Kansas City’s defense stifled a promising Falcons drive, allowing the Chiefs to secure the win and maintain their momentum heading into the latter part of the season.
