In a decisive Week 10 matchup, the New England Patriots topped the Detroit Lions 38-17, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With this victory, the Patriots continue to build momentum as the season progresses, while the Lions face questions about their ability to compete against top-tier teams. Leading the charge for New England was Joe Burrow, who threw for two touchdowns, and Kyren Williams, who racked up an impressive 138 rushing yards. Detroit's Tyler Shough kept the game competitive with 279 passing yards and Denzel Boston's standout performance of 112 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Patriots' offensive onslaught. Defensively, New England made critical plays at key moments. Oluwafemi Oladejo's 1.5 sacks disrupted Detroit's rhythm, while Ernest Jones IV's interception proved pivotal, halting a potential scoring drive. The Patriots' ability to apply pressure and capitalize on turnovers ultimately sealed their commanding victory.
