In an exciting season opener, the Carolina Panthers topped the Chicago Bears 35-24, kicking off the 2026 campaign with a solid performance. Both teams were looking to make a statement early in the season, but it was the Panthers who emerged victorious in this high-stakes matchup. Jayden Daniels shone for the Bears, throwing for 232 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense. However, it was Jadarian Price who stole the spotlight with a commanding ground game, racking up 160 rushing yards for the Panthers. Meanwhile, Jordan Mason contributed significantly for Chicago, leading the receiving corps with 85 yards. Defensively, the Panthers made critical plays that swung momentum in their favor. Jacob Rodriguez's interception proved to be a pivotal moment, halting a promising Bears drive and allowing Carolina to extend their lead. Cedric Gray led the defense with five tackles, helping to keep Chicago's offensive threats in check as the Panthers held off a late-game surge to secure the win.
