In the opening week of the 2027 season, the Cleveland Browns topped the Denver Broncos with a final score of 38-24, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting year. The victory not only marks a strong start for the Browns but also highlights their offensive prowess and defensive capabilities against a formidable opponent. Arch Manning led the Browns' offensive charge with three touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to connect under pressure. Quinshon Judkins added a solid ground game, rushing for 96 yards, while Jamari Johnson kept the Broncos' defense on its heels with 105 receiving yards. Bo Nix of Denver put up impressive numbers with 334 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. Cleveland's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, highlighted by Jared Verse's 1.5 sacks and Grant Delpit’s key interception. The turning point came in the second quarter when Delpit's pick halted a promising Broncos drive, allowing the Browns to extend their lead. With Carson Schwesinger contributing four total tackles, Cleveland's defense consistently pressured Nix, sealing a well-rounded team victory.
