In a dominant display, the Houston Texans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-17 in Week 15 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff positioning. Both teams came into the game with high stakes, as the Jaguars aimed to stay in the hunt while the Texans sought to clinch their postseason spot. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with precision, throwing for two touchdowns and contributing to a balanced attack that kept the Jaguars' defense off balance. Woody Marks provided a strong ground game, rushing for 75 yards, while Nico Collins emerged as a key target, racking up 106 receiving yards. Trevor Lawrence, despite his impressive 309 passing yards, struggled to find the end zone, highlighting the challenges faced by Jacksonville's offense. Defensively, the Texans made crucial stops that shaped the outcome of the game. Jadeveon Clowney's sack and Derek Stingley's interception were pivotal moments that shifted momentum, with Stingley's pick deep in the second quarter halting a Jaguars drive and setting up a touchdown for Houston. Foyesade Oluokun's eight tackles for Jacksonville demonstrate the team's effort, but ultimately, it was the Texans' ability to force turnovers and capitalize on opportunities that sealed their victory.
