The Las Vegas Raiders secured a decisive 28-10 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 5 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, this matchup was crucial for divisional standings, but it was the Raiders who showed their dominance on both sides of the ball. Drake Maye led the charge for Las Vegas, throwing for two touchdowns while helping his team amass a balanced offensive attack. Davante Adams was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 111 yards and providing key catches that kept drives alive. Meanwhile, Javonte Williams of the Patriots managed 79 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Raiders' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Raiders were relentless, with Daiyan Henley recording an impressive 3.5 sacks, putting constant pressure on New England's quarterback. Jessie Bates III anchored the defense with eight total tackles, showcasing a strong performance that limited the Patriots' scoring opportunities. The game's turning point came in the third quarter when Henley’s big sack led to a turnover on downs, allowing the Raiders to capitalize and extend their lead.
