The Miami Dolphins opened the 2026 season with a strong performance, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 20-9. Both teams looked to establish their identity early in the season, but it was the Dolphins who came out on top, securing a significant win on the road. Daniel Jones led the Dolphins' offense, throwing for one touchdown while efficiently managing the game. De'Von Achane was the standout on the ground, racking up 104 rushing yards and providing a consistent threat to the Raiders' defense. The Miami offense capitalized on key opportunities, allowing them to control the tempo throughout the contest. Defensively, the Dolphins put together a solid performance, limiting the Raiders to just nine points. Vita Vea of the Raiders was a bright spot with seven total tackles and two sacks, but it wasn't enough to swing the game in favor of Las Vegas. The turning point came in the second half when a critical interception by Dadrion Taylor-Demerson halted a potential scoring drive for the Raiders, sealing the Dolphins' victory.
