In a high-scoring affair, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Tennessee Titans 59-31 in Week 17 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, the Steelers secured a crucial victory, showcasing their offensive firepower while dashing the Titans' postseason hopes. Steelers quarterback Rico Dowdle led the charge with a balanced offensive attack, racking up 54 rushing yards while also contributing significantly in the passing game. On the other side, Titans' signal-caller Cam Ward put on a show with a staggering 542 passing yards and four touchdowns, while wide receiver Carnell Tate was a standout target, amassing 222 receiving yards. Despite the Titans' offensive fireworks, it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Steelers. Defensively, the game turned on a series of crucial plays, highlighted by Cedric Gray's three interceptions for the Titans, which proved pivotal in keeping the game competitive. However, the Steelers' defense, led by DeShon Elliott with five total tackles, managed to stifle key drives and made timely stops when it mattered most. The turning point came in the second quarter when Pittsburgh forced a turnover on downs, allowing them to pull away and ultimately seal the victory.
